In Switzerland, SAPI (Save the People International) conducts advocacy, awareness-raising, and resource mobilization activities in support of vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by conflicts and humanitarian crises. The organization collaborates with local institutions, foundations, and volunteers to promote international solidarity, social inclusion, and the defense of human rights. It also organizes public events, communication campaigns, and training sessions on child protection, mental health, and sustainable development, while facilitating partnerships between Switzerland and its projects in Africa and other parts of the world.
In the canton of Vaud, SAPI supports several categories of vulnerable children who are not directly affected by conflicts but face difficult circumstances, including children from migrant families in precarious situations, unaccompanied minor migrants, homeless or socially excluded children, as well as those living in extreme poverty or experiencing psychological difficulties. This support is provided through an active network of volunteers who assist these children with educational support, social integration, psychosocial listening, and access to essential services.
