Switzerland

In Switzerland, SAPI (Save the People International) carries out advocacy, awareness-raising and fundraising for vulnerable people, especially those affected by conflict and humanitarian crises. The association works with local institutions, foundations and volunteers to promote international solidarity, social inclusion and the defence of human rights. It organises public events, communication campaigns and training on child protection, mental health and sustainable development, and builds partnerships between Switzerland and its projects in Africa.

In the canton of Vaud, SAPI supports vulnerable children who are not directly affected by conflict but live in difficult situations: children from migrant families in precarious circumstances, unaccompanied minors, homeless or socially excluded children, and children in deep poverty or psychological difficulty. This support relies on an active network of volunteers who help them with schoolwork, social integration, psychosocial listening and access to essential services.
